Justin Timberlake wore a wig to receive his Hasty Pudding Man of the Year Award from Harvard University.

The singer looked comfortable in the permed wig as he received the honour during a ceremonial roast from the university's Hasty Pudding Theatrical group's producers, Stephen L Rola and Kelly M Conley, on Friday night.

Justin laughed as he was told: "This year's Man of the Year is a triple threat. He sings, he dances and he goes straight to DVD."

The 29-year-old also had to endure a succession of "people from his past" as spoof versions of Madonna, former 'N Sync bandmate Lance Bass and a fat-suited, pigtail-wearing Britney Spears took to the stage.

But Justin, who walked away with his silver Pudding Pot wearing a bra with two gift boxes attached to the cups as well as his hairpiece, took the jokes in good spirit, even the jibes at ex-girlfriend Britney.

He said: "Funnily enough, every time I've hosted Saturday Night Live I've ended up in drag at least once. I love stuff like this."
