Ghana, Ivorians clash in Cup

LUANDA: World Cup qualifiers Ghana and Ivory Coast will clash in the first round of the January 10-31 African Nations Cup after the draw yesterday placed them in Group B with Burkina Faso and Togo.

Defending champions Egypt, seeking a record third consecutive title, are in Group C with Nigeria, Mozambique and Benin.

Group A: Angola, Mali, Malawi, Algeria; Group B: Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Togo; Group C: Egypt, Nigeria, Mozambique, Benin; Group D: Cameroon, Gabon, Zambia, Tunisia. - Sapa-AFP
