Try a weekend package in SA for just R999

  • kulula today announced a new era of holiday travel in South Africa with the launch of weekend holiday packages from only R999. These packages are per person sharing and are all-inclusive of flights, taxes and surcharges as well as car rental and two nights' hotel accommodation.

  • Less than seven years ago kulula transformed domestic travel by introducing easy-to-book and affordable flights in this country. Since then air travel has doubled in South Africa with almost 10% of South Africans now flying each year.

  • According to kulula's executive manager of travel and distribution, Iain Meaker: "Millions of foreign travellers come and visit our country each year yet most South Africans have not explored their own country. kulula holidays offers South Africans affordable and accessible local holiday options."

  • The holiday destinations on offer will include Cape Town, Durban and the Garden Route and will feature a wide range of hotels including the Protea President and Victoria Junction in Cape Town.

  • Over 10 000 package options are available on the kulula web site and are bookable on line at www.kulula.com

  • For ease of reference the packages have been categorised into six types of holidays: adventure, city breaks, family, golf and spa, romantic and beach getaways.

  • Last month kulula partnered with SA Tourism to launch a R12-million marketing campaign to promote domestic tourism.
